HSC subject selection made easy

This is a tool to assist Year 10 students in selecting courses to study for the next two years. It's important to lay a strong foundation for the future by choosing the HSC subjects that are right for a specific career.

Don't stress: Subject Compass (from the UAC) can help you find your way!

How it works:

  1. Enter your interests, skills, and career pathway study plans
  2. View a list of HSC subjects that best match your profile
  3. Select your preferred subjects from the list
  4. Check if your chosen subjects will give you an ATAR
  5. Share your Compass results with your careers advisor Ms Morris at kim.morris19@det.nsw.edu.au
