Homework guidelines
Homework provides opportunities for students to develop essential skills such as self-regulation, time management, organisation, and independent learning.
Homework at Aurora College is viewed as a learning support strategy rather than a compliance mechanism. It supports consolidation of classroom learning, provides opportunities for revision and extension, and nurtures skills valuable across academic and practical contexts. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory, with no academic or behavioural penalties for non-completion, to ensure balance with student wellbeing and other commitments.
